FULL-PROOF Project

FULL-PROOF Project: Strengthening Procedural Rights in Criminal Justice

The FULL-PROOF project (Ensuring the due course of criminal proceedings by strengthening respect for the procedural rights of suspects and the accused) started in early October and will run for 24 months. The official kick-off meeting took place online on 3 October.

The project aims to improve criminal justice procedures by tackling breaches of procedural rights at the early stages of justice processes. The team collaborates closely with police officers and lawyers to raise awareness and help them better understand how to engage effectively with suspects and the accused. By analysing common breaches in the application of existing directives and building on best practices, FULL-PROOF seeks to develop a framework that replicates successful approaches. This will enable professionals to use existing tools and resources more effectively and foster international collaboration.

The project is co-financed by the European Union, with Qualify Just – IT Solutions and Consulting Lda from Portugal as the consortium leader.
